Day 1: With the board loaded in the car, it was off to the South Shore early Tueday morning to see what hurricane
Flossie brought during the night. While I was driving I felt like a 5
year old on Christmas morning full of anticipation of what Santa
brought that night. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. It
wasn’t as big as I was hoping for but the winds were down and we got
waves. I met Dave (see pic), another SUP surfer who arrived at the same
I did. The waves were good. Dave rode the beefy outside sets all the
way in, while I played on the snappy inside waves. There were only two
other guys in the water when we arrived, stoked.
Day 2: Twice the size, double the fun. Flossie put out for us on
Wednesday! There was no channel so it took patience and planning to get
out and absolutely worth it. Dave was back for seconds as was I. It
sure was tasty to ride waves with a little more juice. Can’t wait for
winter! www.SUPsurfMag.com …100% Pure Stoke!
