It seems like it's been forever since I've shared some stand up paddle juice from our neck of the woods. We'll be getting all geared with high hopes for a kiiler glassy session this morning. The winds have shifted and we're going on the road. You're probably wondering about Secret Spot #1. I can't tell you where it is but the other day Bill Ward and I were out flat water paddling and looking for the occasional ankle to knee high ripple, when the lightning bolt hit and we decided to venture over to the area I previously called "nose-whacks". You may recall a post I made a while back where my paddle slipped from my top hand and whacked me in the face just at the opportune moment. We'll, we went back and found shoulder to head high waves on an ankle to knee high day. Hey, it was shallow and if you went the wrong way, you were dodging the dry land mines, but once we got it wired, it was killer... Secret Spot #1.
