Maxfield Provisions' Newest Release (Carlsbad, CA) - With the resurgence of Stand Up Paddle Surfing dating back to the beginnings of surfing in Hawaii, Maxfield Provisions introduces the “Ho’e Nalu” (Paddle Surf) Blade and Travel Bag. Maxfield Provisions, a provider of quality goods for the waterman, designed the covers to be a long lasting protective shield from the elements that might harm the uniquely designed paddles. Currently on order are the new full length travel bags. Fitting blade lengths up to 84 inches, the bags will hold two paddles and has an interior shield to separate the blades while traveling long distance. The “Ho’e Nalu” covers are made up of three layers of material, the exterior cover is either a heavy nylon 1000 denier Cordura or a beige straw weave material with Cordura, followed by a foam layer for padding and nylon cordura soft skin interior cover.
The zipper on the cover is a strong YKK zipper that is centered down the middle of the cover to avoid scratching the blades edge. Maxfield Provisions designed their “Ho’e Nalu” Paddle Covers to form fit all blades and paddles. The covers can hold blades up to 20” X 10”, and special orders for steering blades and additional templates are being produced. Orders are being filled at this time for Infinity Surfboards in Dana Point, Ca., Bob’s Mission Surf, Mission Beach, CA. and Tropical Blends, Honolulu, HI. Creatively thinking Maxfield Provisions also provides silk-screening in one color for promotional branding purposes for surf shops.
