StykorIt seems to be the trend lately. And we’ve all seen it, the 12’  stand up paddle board on a Camry traveling 65MPH, wobbling in the wind. STYKOR has the solution, and no truck, van, or trailer hitch is needed.

The TadPoleTM is the only product on the market designed to support “Roof-Top Carry” from the top of a vehicle’s trunk. This allows the driver to shift his entire board toward the rear of the vehicle, removing the “front windshield overhang” that causes board stress, wobble, and vibration. It is constructed of high-quality steel through robotic welding so each TadPoleTM is identical. The powder-coating process prevents weathering & rust, and the closed-cell sponge on its base helps to protect the vehicle from metal on metal contact. Customers simply adjust the height of the TadPoleTM to match the height of their traditional roof-top racks. Once assembled, total install is less than one minute before each road trip. stykor_comparison.jpg

Stand-up paddle boarding is the fastest growing water-sport in the US, and you may have noticed, so is the practice of buying smaller cars. So we are quickly removing road-trip anxiety for kayakers, longboarders, and SUPrs. We hope you will allow us to support you and your toys in 2010.

All of the user pictures had hard rack systems.
I own soft racks. Can I use the Stykor system with soft racks for a paddleboard?

What do you suggest for 2 boards? We have a 11'3 and an 11'.. I have an 02 liberty and we will be driving from Key West to Northern Michigan and need something uber stable. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Sorry Clyde,
The TadPole and its adjustment range will accommodate all "traditional trunks" currently on the road. We're working on a hatchback solution. Stay tuned.

Would this work for a hatchback ie. Toyota Matrix? I have a 12'4" ancient windsurfing longboard that I'm planning on using as a SUP when there is no wind.

Yeah I agree. Very convenient to use. I super love it! I can travel with my boards not worrying at all.

I got one for my trip from Maryland down to the NC coast. Very stable on Interstate 95. Durable well made product.

I have one of these for my car and I love it. It takes the worries out of driving to the beach on interstate with my 11'3" board strapped on top. It's too easy to use. Stykor has something going good here.
