Maxfield Provisions is one of the underground companies that is producing some of the highest quality products anywhere offering indestructible paddle covers, Nalu Stackers, packs, and wallets. All their gear is made in the U.S.A. and the company is operated out of Carlsbad, CA. Additionally, Maxfield Provisions donates 10% of sales to Surfaid International. According to Maxfield Provisions, their purpose “is to stock staple goods of interests, value and necessity for everyone who loves the ocean.” They are currently in the process of opening their shop dedicated to stand up paddles surfing. Soon enough they’ll be hooking you up with boards, paddles, and other equipment though their local showroom.
One of our favorite products in the lineup is the Ho’e Nalu
Blade Bag. The Ho’e Nalu Blade Bag is one of Maxfield Provisions’ signature
products. They are designed to fit all blades up to 20” x 91/2”. We
have personally inspected these paddle covers and they are definitely built to
last and protect. There were no corners cut in the design or materials used. They
are waterproof, padded, and constructed with a 1000 Denier Nylon Cordura shell
and a smooth skin interior. The beefy zipper is easy to manage. You’ll never
have to worry about the zipper getting stuck or breaking. When it comes down to
it, after shelling out upwards of 300 bucks for your new paddle, it only makes
sense to invest $27 in a cover to protect your blade.
