Surftech stand up paddle

If you haven't visited Surftech's website recently, it's time you paid another visit. Their Fall stand up paddle board lineup is more impressive than ever with a vast array of boards and construction methods which include Tuflite, wood veneer, Softop, and inflatable boards. Now let's take a peek at some highlights of the equipment Surftech's got on the menu.

First, there's the virtually bomb-proof Tuflite construction and new additions by Gerry Lopez which have been creating a lot of buzz in the global stand up paddle community. Surftech has introduced into production the Lopez Surf Music available in 9'6" and 10'0" lengths and the 8'11" Lil Darling, the shortest SUP board in the Surftech lineup.

Moving  up in length, the Infinity Ku Ku Hoe shaped by Steve Boehne of Infinity Surfboards in Dana Point, CA is a high performance board with extra thickness for bigger paddlers or heavy footed surfers looking for performance. The Ali'i Series by Donald Takayama has made impressive showings and has been proven in heavy waves of Oahu's North Shore. At contests, this series has been the favorite of Surftech team riders which include Kai Sallas, Dino Miranda, and Noah Shimabukuro.

The Laird series, which has traditionally been a standard for measuring glide and stability are available in a variety of lengths from performance 10' models to the longer 12' boards. The Laird series now include an Pearson Arrow model along with the traditional models that are available in Softop, wood veneer, and Tuflite construction.

The Robert August Wingnut has also made its way into the Surftech stand up paddle portfolio as a good all around board that's a stable and smooth paddler.

And finally, a new addition is the inflatable travel stand up paddle board. This 10'6" iSUP inflatable board is 29.75" wide and 4.25" thick. The board includes both a travel backpack and two-way pump for quick inflation. Inflatable boards have been favored by those who travel or have limited storage. River paddlers have also appreciated the durable and ding-resistant nature of inflatable boards.

As we move into winter, keep your eyes peeled for Surftech equipment in the lineup. With innovative designs and durable Tuflite construction, Surfech is offering the widest array of shapes and board construction methods of any company to date.
