Irvine, CA - (September 23, 2011) – SIMPLE Mobile® (http://www.mysimplemobile.com), the company that has been revolutionizing the wireless world with their innovative B.Y.O.P. (Bring Your Own Phone) program, is pleased to announce that 404 SIMPLE Mobile Stand Up Paddle Race Team member, Danny Ching, will be participating in the Rainbow Sandals Gerry Lopez Battle of the Paddle this weekend. Taking place at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, CA, the Battle of the Paddle will pit Danny against a field of notable paddlers as he defends his 2010 Elite Race victory against some of the world’s best stand-up paddlers.
Danny has had significant success in previous Battle of the Paddle events the last few years. At the 2010 Battle of the Paddle Hawaii, Danny placed first in both the 5-mile Elite Battle and the 10-mile Downwinder races. During the 2011 Battle of the Paddle Hawaii, Danny placed first in the Downwind Distance Race. The course for the 2011 California event is a multiple lap circuit that includes paddling through the surf and beaching equipment for sand run.
“We are big supporters of Danny and 404 as they helped us get the word out at our infancy,” commented Tim Garrett, SVP of marketing for SIMPLE Mobile. “Now, as we grow, it’s great to see SUP grow with Danny and 404 leading the way. That’s our goal too, to be the leaders in hassle free wireless service for all.”
SIMPLE Mobile recently revamped its pre-paid, flat-rate plans to include even more hassle free ways to unite mobile users across the US against overpriced wireless service. The company that began the SIM card revolution in 2009 with their innovative B.Y.O.P. (Bring Your Own Phone) program, is shaking up the wireless landscape by introducing a $40 Unlimited Nationwide Talk, Text & Web plan, unlimited $50 and $60 BlackBerry® plans that also allow users to bring their existing BlackBerry devices to SIMPLE Mobile’s high speed network and two 4G Nationwide Wireless Broadband plans that start at just $25.
