nikkigregghuilogohui200.jpgHaleiwa, HI (July 1, 2009)--Personal Trainer, avid stand up Paddler & owner Of NRG Lifestyle Fitness Training, Nikki Gregg is bringing her exclusive women’s stand up paddle boot camp to a number of cities in a western state tour of Utah, California & Colorado.

Nikki Gregg has 10 years of experience as a fitness professional and has now pioneered a new approach to health & fitness by combining her already successful personal training methods with the worlds fastest growing water sport, stand up paddle surfing. Nikki began to implement stand up paddling into her workout programs in Hawaii and honed her skills on the famed beaches of Oahu’s North Shore. Filled with aloha spirit and a lifetime dedicated to health and fitness, Nikki will now bring her unique brand of health, fitness and stand up paddle training to the mainland, USA. Scheduled venues include Salt Lake City, UT/ Santa Barbra, CA/ Dana Point, CA, and Colorado.

Nikki’s exclusive boot camp is personalized; each camp will only cater to six participants at a time. Each city will allow participants to choose from either a three day boot camp during the week or a two day camp for the weekend warriors.

“I want everyone to come away from the experience completely stoked, not only feeling great from the workouts, but equipped with the strength and knowledge to charge harder on their SUP boards.”, says Nikki, who further explains, “I like to change up the workouts every time. My boot camps are never the same twice. Expect anything, just don’t expect boring.”

Participants can anticipate much more during the camp in addition to the workouts. Each paddler’s technique will have an in-depth evaluation, a healthy gourmet lunch served each day after the workout, special clinics with guest athletes, and lots of gear and lots of freebies will be lavished upon each person joining the program.

Nikki Gregg has spent much of her life in gyms either personal training, managing, teaching group strength classes, and weight loss counseling. These days, though, one will rarely find her spending much time at any gym as she prefers to transform and shape up her client’s bodies outdoors on the beach and by way of stand up paddling. “Stand up paddling has done far more at improving my physique than any gym work I’ve done. Plus, it happens to be fun.” She explains, “Naturally I began incorporating SUP into my workout programs with success.”

Nikki’s strongly believes in her motto, “There’s nothing worse than a boring workout” . As she explains, “It’s really that simple. Committing to a healthy lifestyle with proper eating habits and exercise doesn’t need to be complicated and dreadful. Nobody should feel miserable while they are getting into shape and losing weight.” She continues, “Don’t get me wrong, though, results are hard earned in my Stand Up Paddle Fitness boot camps. I make people work hard to reach their goals.”

All board, paddles and necessary equipment will be provided. The schedule dates for Nikki’s boot camp are as follows:

Salt lake city, UT (Aug 5-7 and 8th/9th)
Santa Barbra, (Aug 12th -14th and 15th-16th)
Dana Point, CA (19th-21st and 22nd-23rd)
Buena Vista, CO (July 18-19th)

In keeping with her dedication to help others Nikki will also be donating a portion of the proceeds from each camp to several different Hawaiian Charities.

This is really a great idea. I'm sure many people would love working out and burn calories but at the same time have so much fun.

Even though I have my own orbit rack at home I'm still not so passionate about working out since it's kinda boring especially when you do it alone. So, i suggest to try this stand up paddle surfing, you'll enjoy it and you're keeping your figure at the same time.

Unfortunately sup,ing in melbourne Aust is not as popular sport as in the states, the idea of a boot camp sounds great for achieving a level of fitness that would enable a competetive edge, my regime is about 10k's of flat water paddling ,have noticed loss of weight and gains of strength and endurance, less lower back pain and a flat stomach, it would be great to be part of your bootcamp for the intensity and discipline, can you provide a training programme for the distant suppers
