Day 1, Saturday, June 29, 2013 will be a day of all things “SUP” at Delmarva Board Sports and Harpoon Hanna’s including event registration/check-in, SUP clinics, SUP Yoga / Fitness, Doggie Social Paddle & Race, sprint SUP races, vendor booths, happy hour at Harpoon Hanna’s and the new and exciting NightSUP™ demos for race participants.

Day 2, Sunday, June 30, 2013, will be held at Holt’s Landing State Park, Millville, DE (Off of  Rt. 26) and will involve 2.5 and 5 mile race courses, a kids’ race, vendor booths, great food, and an awards ceremony to wrap up the event.  Winners from each race division will be entered into a drawing to win a brand new paddle board or a paddle!

The title sponsor for this event is BoardWorks SUP.  The race team is currently seeking sponsorship from local residents and businesses as well as SURF / SUP / WINDSURF industry manufacturer and retailers.   Booth space is available.

“We at Operation Second Chance are thrilled to start what we plan to be an exciting SUP fund raising tradition on Fenwick Island” says Walt Ellenberger Paddle Fenwick Chairperson. “This is a family friendly event geared towards novice and experienced paddle boarders” says Janis Markopoulos, the DelMarVa Board Sports founder and owner.
