safewatersforhawaii.jpg    The Safe Waters for Hawai'i website has been recently launched making information about illegal shark feeding available to the public through the internet. Safe Waters for Hawaii addresses the issue of shark tours in the waters of Oahu, Maui, Molokai'i, Lanai'i, Hawai'i, and Papahanaumokuakea. The website has links to State and Federal Laws that prohibit shark feeding in State or Federal waters from 0 to 200 nautical miles from shore. The site includes GPS coordinates of where Safe Waters for Hawaii believes shark are being fed in the Molokai Channel along the path where the annual canoe and stand up paddle Molokai channel crossing race takes place. For those interested in more information, videos, State and Federal Laws, and getting involved in the ban on shark feeding visit www.safewatersforhawaii.com
