It is heartwarming to know that classic old school surf style shops
still exist. You know the kind where the owner and employees actually
surf. The kind of shop where you can stop by anytime to talk story
about the days surf session, while you drool over a killer stick on the
rack. Which is easy to do considering Mission Surf has one of the most
extensive lines of stand up paddle boards and accessories will you will
find anywhere!
Whether you want something to cruise on warm
glassy summer evenings, downwind runs or want the latest in high
performance boards that will take your wave riding to new heights, Bob
has them all. Need a custom shape, no problem!
The name brands he carries reads like a whose who of experienced
craftsmen like SK boards from long time San Diego shaper Stu Kenson,
Steve Bohene at Infinity, the new Laird model from Pearson Arrow,
King, Ron House, Surftech, Hobie and Hollingsworth. If you want
something from da islands, shoots, no worries bruddah, check out the
Ben Aipa stingers, Jimmy Lewis, Dick Brewer, C4 Waterman, Walden and
even a few hard to find PSH boards.

Bob also has his own line
under the Mission Surfboards label. They are using the new EPS safe
Resin X poly resin. It is strong and Glossable without chipping.
Mission
Surf also carries the absolute best in paddles and carry a healthy
inventory of Hollow Stick, Werner, Kialoa , C4, Whiskey Jack, Quick
Blades and Kinimaka.
Of course no SUP surf shop would be
complete without a plethora of accessories and they have them!
Everything from the incredibly well made Maxfield paddle covers to
leashes, and apparel can be found at Mission Surf. Bob and his
staff are stoked surfers who are dedicated to providing the ultimate
service to stand up paddlers of all levels. If you still are not sure
what board is best suited for your needs then ask about his killer demo
and rental programs. Check with Bob about some possible upcoming demo
days this summer with Kenson, King and C4. And rumor has it that he
will be offering some group evening paddles each week on Mission Bay
to view the beautiful Sea World fireworks. Now that sounds like fun!
Bob’s
Mission Surf is a one stop shop where you can find everything you need
for SUP surfing under one roof. For more info simply click the Bob’s
Mission Surf banner on this page and tell him SUPSURFMAG.COM sent you!
