The crazy support for the 2nd Annual My Aloha Cup
confirmed that the people of Charlotte, NC are falling in love with Stand Up Paddleboarding. On May 5th
My Aloha Paddle Sports & Fitness hosted the race which raised more than
$2,000 for Habitat for Humanity. It
was extremely exciting to see the spectators so psyched about the race and the
sport. They cheered on the fifty paddlers who participated while enjoying a
gorgeous day on Lake Norman at Vinny’s Grill & Raw Bar. Race day photos on www.whatsupwithdana.com.
Besides the live music by The Tsunami Wave Riders there was
plenty of entertainment including free board demos and Paddle Fusion Fitness
Class demonstration. More than
$2,000 in raffle prizes were donated by local Lake Norman companies and one
very excited spectator went home with a brand new 12'6" Race Board donated
