With just a week to go until the start of Stand Up World Tour Stop number 2 at La Torche in Brittany, NW France, athletes from all over the world are preparing for the next dramatic showdown of 2011. Antoine Delpero will be looking to defend the Title he won in 2010 of event winner in France and build on his 7th place finish in the first event at Sunset. The stylish Frenchman is a great bet for the event, with his proven strengths in beach breaks (last year in France and Brazil), but also his undeniable and consistently high performance record on the Stand Up World Tour, with a 3rd place overall in 2010.

Leading Contenders

Never to be counted out is 2010’s #2 ranked athlete and fellow Frenchman, Peyo Lizarazu, who will be looking to build on his great 3rd place at Sunset and podium finish at home in France in 2010. However the two Hawaiians that are on fire after their duel in the Final of the Sunset Beach Pro, current World Champion Kai Lenny and World #4 Robin Johnston will be looking to consolidate on a great start to the year and take the lead here in France.

Unprecedented # of Trials entries

With nearly 100 entries received, the Naish La Torche Pro presented by O’Neill promises to be a spectacular display of both the emerging European and International talent, as the contenders step up to do battle for their place in the main event and a chance to follow the Stand Up World Tour.
