We received this photo from photographer, Megan Aho (www.meganaho.com ) who gave us permission to share it. Once again, Ikaika Kalama gets deeper and steeper that we're seen in the past, and this time on opening day at Pipeline on the North Shore of Oahu.

Pipe is not in any way a place for the casual surfer, and you can count on one hand the stand up paddlers that have a place in the lineup. Mind blowing images like this raises the bar of high performance stand up paddling world wide and provides a mental playground for those of us who can only dream of riding such a wave.
