Hi,

Does anyone know a good (or at least any) rental place in Kauai (preferably South Shore) to rent a paddle surfing board?

What is a good (or at least suitable) beginner place for paddle surfing out there?

Kalapaki's a great place to learn. There's usually a flat, calm area over by the cliffs near the beach; folks who surf at Shoulder's are used to beginners (though sometimes of the number of them can be overwhelming) and the wave's mellow. TAKE LESSONS and don't just rent a board. Do the former and you'll learn right; do the latter and we'll ask you to get the heck out of the lineup!
