dot;

here is a idea of the dims, I hope the pics transfer. the board is pretty heavy, I haven't weighed it but I guess arond 25-30 lbs. I picked up an 08 model at a great price, contact John to see what he has. Don't worry about bothering him, sounds like all he does is hang at the beach and paddle surf,(haha) that's where he sells lots of boards.

my new board from south county,
epx2 construction, closed cell eps foam, hand shaped and glassed. decent rocker to catch waves and not pearl. the nose has a single concave, the mid section under the paddler is flat, then it goes into a double barrel in the tail. 5 fin boxes, rails are big soft 50/50 except in the tail. the double wings and pin tail make the boards really easy to turn.

Re:South Country Sup 2 Years, 2 Months ago
I saw this thread a couple of months ago and I bought a SouthCounty Turtle and it Rocks!! This board put a huge smile on my face. I paddle in Lakes, Intercoastal, and the Waves at the beach. Love the board, it is stable - floaty- and surfs and paddles great. My whole family loves these boards - bought another.

I tried other boards and I was frustrated with how they worked or didn't work for me. I can surf a 8' board, but nothing was stable or could float me now that I weigh 260. 12-14 foot fat man boards are just too big to carry, surf waves or store at the house. The 10 foot and 9 foot boards from South County are the best for me.
