I think Blane's Kook or Kool says it well. I'd like to see this handed out with every new board purchased.

I agree 110% with stoneaxe. Read the page on paddlesurf hawaii's site and don't be a kook. Just put yourself in a surfers place with SUP kooks around. Share waves, be respectful, enjoy the vibe.B)

We had a meeting here on Kauai a few months ago to prevent the conflict that seems to be happening in a lot of lineups. The bottom line is SURF ALOHA and lose the "i no kea" attidude. We all gotta care for each other. Now that I'm one of the teaspoons out there it is up to me to have Aloha for everyone. I have time to sit out waves and sets and laugh and smile and cheer as others catch great rides (and learn by watching too). I've been surfing for almost 50 years and was taught by my dad, my cousins, Jammer Kekai and Kauai's Waterfolk to share the waves - there's plenty for all of us.

Of course, one of the best things about getting older in years is that I'm just not in a hurry any more!

If the waves are bigger than 2-3 ft (faces), don't sit on the peak! No surfers are gunna be stoked if someone sits on the peak and catches waves before anyone else has the chance to. Sit on the inside and pick off waves that surfers don't get, wait for big set waves that shift too far over for surfers to be able to catch, paddle to another peak down the coast where no other surfers are. There at a ton of spots that are inaccessible to traditional surfers.

I say hello to the landlord, through Forum and I want to say something of my own views, sometimes when I registered some accounts, some validation makes me feel that when authors write better idiots, ask some strong regional issues, or very strong knowledge of issues that I cannot answer. Some idiot, let me fill in verification code when often the CAPTCHA fuzzy make me difficult to distinguish. I now hope that stupid fools for this site to buy a language learning tutorials, go back to learn the language. I'm sure those idiots is does not speak languages, this tutorial you can learn Japanese (Rosetta Stone Japanese) and Korean (Rosetta Stone Korean) Portugal language (Rosetta Stone Portuguese) Spain language (Rosetta Stone Spanish), Russian (Rosetta Stone Russian) Poland (thoughRosetta Stone Polish) drop towers and language (Rosetta Stone Tagalog), and so on, I'm sure can help you ...
