G'day from down under..I just came across this site and think it's great and I'm looking forward to seeing it grow.
I live in Melbourne Australia and I've been SUP'ing for about 18 months now..I'm using an NSP 11'x 25"x 4" board.
It's Springtime right now in oz and the weather is getting warmer so the other day I strapped my little digital camera around my neck and did a cruise around St Kilda Marina for a bit of exersize..and took some pics.
After so many sunny days the weather turned out pretty crappy and overcast.
There was very little wind so that was a bonus.
There were lots of these blue blubber jelly fish..Big buggers aren't they.
I almost fell in taking this pic.
We also have these starfish..We call them the bad starfish..They come in on the ships from Japan and each one can produce 20 million more so they can take over an area and kill off the local starfish.
I will often pull them out and leave them in the sun to die.
We also have these cute little penguins..We call them fairy penguins..and there is about 1000 of them that live in this area..They are about one foot tall.
Some days they are out swimming around my board..other days they waddle around on the shore..This was the best pic that I could get today without harassing them.
I'm just heading back to where I started from..the beach in the distance..That's the Melbourne city skyline..Some waves would have been nice.
